Bimal Subedi is undoubtedly one of the most prominent theatre artist, director, art manager and teacher in Nepal at present who is working on Nepali Art, Cultural and literature from 2001 AD. He is the only person from Nepal who got chances to specialize in Theatre Techniques, Design/Direction (3 years master- degree (equivalent to) by Ministry of education, India) from renowned Theatre school National School of Drama (NSD), and New Delhi, India. He has worked with many eminent Professor, cultural expert, theatre directors, art managers and designers from home and abroad. He has produced a number of critically acclaimed theatre productions which creates buzz nationally & internationally.

His plays staged in many prestigious international theatre festival Cultural/literary exchange program like, Southbank Centre, London: Bharat Ranga Mahotsav, NSD, India: NAPA, Karachi, Pakistan-2013& 2015; International theatre festival-Festival Spots op west in Westouter, Belgium, Festival Festjijalla, Theatre Walton, German, different Estate of India and many more.

He was selected for collaborative project with Shakespeare‟s Globe Theatre Company London, in Hamlet. He is the designer and co-coordinator of world theatre forum 2015 & 2016, ‘Bharat Ranga Mahotsav’ (A biggest International cultural festival of Asia) India. He has worked with British Council, London in Globe to globe Project- 2014 and Worked with British Council UK/British Council Nepal/British Embassy Nepal, in South Asian cross boarder cultural project-2017 as a lead moderator. He was honored by OTG international theatre Award-2016. He has worked with Cultural ministry of Goa, India in Indo-Nepal Cultural exchange program- 2015. He has worked with Jahawar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, India-2015 in “Princess of the Garden”. He did short term film making course from Satyajeet Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata.

He has worked with Film and Television Institute of India, pune( FTII), India; Central Drama Academy, China, Beijing- 2011(Indo-China cultural exchange program and also participated in ATEC international theatre festival); Maradokmai Community Theatre Thailand & did a cultural rehabilitation theatre workshop with 4000 Women prisoners at Women’s Central Prison, Bangkok -2014 along with Theatre Production. He is a visiting faculty of Pandit Lakhmi Chand State University of performing and Visual Art, Rohtak, India and associate director/designer of Theatre Production BOO. He has worked with Kantipur film Academy, Kathmandu as a HOD – 2018. He has worked with Nepal Film Academy as a HOD-2019. He is working as a visiting faculty at Oscar International film college (4 years graduation course TU), Kathmandu; Visiting faculty of National School of Drama, Sikkim, India.
